This past weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating one of best friend’s 21st birthday at the 5 star Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. I have heard only amazing things about this hotel prior to my arrival, but the moment our uber pulled up to the lobby doors I was in complete awe and understood what the hype was all about.

The first thing I noticed was the the gorgeous architecture and extravagant décor in the lobby. With the stunning chandeliers, natural light, and clean white floors it definitely gave off that luxurious vibe.

One awesome perk I discovered was that the the lobby turns into a great lounge where many guests hang out before they go party at LIV (pictured above) which is a club located right in the hotel. There are always amazing artists and DJs performing every weekend, so you will always have plans! Seriously take my advice, this is one of the best hotels, if not the best, in Miami.

The views at this hotel are truly spectacular. We decided to upgrade to a suite and our view, shown above, was absolutely stunning. Waking up to a view of the pool and the beach every day?! Does it get any better?
Just chilling downstairs at the pool. I love the whole aesthetic of this hotel. Clean, sexy and glamorous. Also, made for a killer instagram post ;)

One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the gorgeous cabanas you can rent out while you hang out by the pool. They are perfect for relaxing, but also a great little place to hang out with friends and order lunch.

One thing you should also note is that there are four buildings to choose from when staying at the Fontainebleau. We decided to stay in the Sorrento Ocean View Junior Suite. I would recommend getting a suite especially if you are going with a larger party! We loved having the extra room and it made our stay that much more enjoyable.
Also, I emailed the PR team and asked them to hook my friend up with a cake for her 21st birthday! They were so sweet about it and they brought it up to our room the day we checked in. Loved how accommodating they were but I think I loved the cake even more! Seriously one of the best cakes I have ever had…

They also have their Lapis Spa which offers many amenities. It is a perfect place to relax and possibly try to cure that hangover of yours (you know you’ll need it). But seriously be sure to check it out because they have gym, salon and so much more!

So beautiful people…next time you book a trip to Miami make sure you stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. There are also always exciting events happening each weekend at this hotel so be sure to keep your eye out when planning!

P.S. When booking try to avoid the month of June as we discovered that June is a rainy season in Florida! Just some advice :)
