My family and I have been skiing for years. This year we decided to book a spontaneous trip to Killington, Vermont and we had an absolute blast. There are so many amazing places to ski such as Whistler, Aspen and even Vail that I want to travel to; however, those places can get pricy; especially if you are booking on a whim. If you’re looking for something more affordable, but also with great trails, Killington, Vermont is the place to be.
We decided to stay this year at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel which is located right next to the mountains. It was great for us because we were able to keep our skis & boots inside of the hotel and just check them in & out every day. Saved us so much time.
The hotel also had a fantastic restaurant called, Prestons, located on the main floor. Everything we needed was within reach. Some of my other favorite parts about the hotel was their gym facility and their heated pool. I was able to swim in the freezing cold air, while staying warm in the heated pool, and looking at the mountain where we skied earlier that day. Pretty damn awesome.
They hotel also had such a cozy ambiance and every day after the mountain closed the staff would serve the guests s’mores & hot chocolate! So cute! The Grand Resort Hotel made us feel right at home.
Vermont is gorgeous.
One of the other activities we did besides skiing was snowmobiling! I have never ridden a snowmobile before but it was so, so much fun! We had our first experience at Killington Snowmobile Tours and I was so pleased with how the staff introduced us to the experience! Very friendly & helpful!
Snowmobiling is not only super fun but also somewhat peaceful. We were riding through the mountains, along multiple trails, on a gorgeous day and taking in all the amazing views. I was able to see the beautiful mountain from different angles and the trees covered in the glistening white snow. It was truly magical.
Also, my jacket in this photo is from Toni Sailer.
Snowmobile babe.
Back at the hotel I had an affair with the pizza boy…or just the pizza. Lol.
This is just a random shot of me pretending to be a model. Felt like I belonged in a vintage 80’s ski magazine. I think I killed in Killington.

P.S. Check Out the Waffle Cabin on the mountain. You can thank me later.
