This year was my first NYFW and what an experience! It was definitely worth all of the planning and hustling. I was able to make so many connections, attend amazing shows, and meet other creative minds in the industry who are pursuing their passions. The craziness of it all was both stimulating and inspiring to say the least; plus the energy in the manhattan air is undeniable. NYFW makes sure its presence is known.
My first look was rock & roll inspired with of course some 50s looking cat-eye shades. I absolutely love wearing pieces from past decades and styling them in such a way that the look still comes across modern chic.
Pinstripe pants are EVERYTHING; especially for girls like me who are really short (5ft ovaaa here). Pinstripes make you appear taller which I love because I need all the help I can get.
Also, if you are wondering, I was on the phone with Beetlejuice telling him that he can’t have his pants back ;)
