I don’t know about you but I LOVE birthdays. It’s an excuse to get dressed, hang with all of your best friends & just have fun! With the pandemic canceling all nightlife related activities there are plenty of other amazing ways you can celebrate your birthday this year. Here are a few of our recommendations:
Host a Dinner Party – This past year my friends & I have really enjoyed hosting some fun dinner parties. On the left you’ll see the table I designed with NYFF Events for my 24th birthday & on the right you’ll see my friend Madison’s birthday dinner hosted by this super cool company, Masuda Omakase, that specialized in private at-home dinner events (they even let you make your own roll!). You can also hire a private chef!
Book a Hotel Room – When was the last time you just slipped into a robe, ordered room service & relaxed? Well if its been awhile I think I just came up with your next birthday idea. Some hotels I recommend checking out if you’re in the NYC area are The Ludlow Hotel, The Baccarat Hotel, & The Standard High Line.
Explore a New Art Class – Exploring your inner child can be the most fun. There are so many cool art classes you can take with your friends such as Unarthodox (I recommend their Paint & Sip class!) or Color Me Mine (Bella Hadid had her 23rd party here!). Both of these locations are currently open to the public.
Take a Cooking Class – Why not use your birthday as an excuse to learn something new? There are so many awesome ways to learn how to cook. You can book a private virtual cooking classes that will help you make a meal from start to finish (including prep) with Havens Kitchen, The Brooklyn Kitchen or The Pizza School!
Relax with a Spa Day – With all of those fun and exciting options there is also nothing like a spa day. Use your birthday as an excuse to get pampered. You could go alone or invite some of your closest friends. Some NYC spas that are open that you should check our are AIRE Ancient Bath & Spa de La Mer.
Hope you all have a fabulous birthday this year & happy birthday!
