Congrats! You survived another work week. But now you are thinking of weekend plans and all you have in mind is ‘Netflix & Chill’…again. It definitely can be frustrating when normal nightlife is not a thing at the moment. However, here are some recommendations for what you can do to spice up your weekend.
Staycation – There are so many cute hotels in your area that I bet you have yet to explore. Why not take a little drive for the weekend with friends or a partner?! I don’t know about you but nothing puts a smile on my face like room service & a bathrobe.
Vineyard – Okay so you can’t drink all of the hours of the night at a bar anymore but who said anything about day drinking? Why not head out to your local vineyard with friends and try all they have to offer. If you are in Long Island be sure to try Wölffer Estate or Sparkling Pointe.
Adult Arcade – Remember when you were little and you got so excited when you played games & collected tickets? Well, why not relive that experience? The catch? Now you can drink too. Adult arcades are such a blast and really have a nostalgic feel about them. A really popular spot in New York is Dave & Buster’s.
Host a Dinner Party – When was the last time you got your closet friends together and hosted a dinner party? Hosting a dinner party can be an absolute blast. Between setting up the table, having everyone dress up & of course the ease of being in your space is really the best. If you want to splurge a little higher a chef & design a menu to give you the feel like you’re in a restaurant. If you love sushi I recommend Masuda Omakase.
Drive-In Movie – I don’t know about you but I used to love going to the movies. It truly is a different experience than just sitting on your couch. Why not check out the drive in movie schedule in your area & make a night of it with friends! If you’re iN NYC you can have a Manhattan Skyline View while watching your favorite flicks! Check out HERE.
Just because we can’t dance at a club till 3am like we used to, doesn’t mean we have to stay in sweats the whole weekend. Have fun!
