Before I go on any vacation I always make sure I book the most amazing restaurants to dine at with my friends. I get a natural high from getting all decked out and eating a delicious meal (with a of course a glass of wine)! I have been to Miami multiple times and I finally decided to create a list of some of my personal favorite places to eat. So, next time you head over to the beautiful beaches of South Beach be sure to check out these incredible restaurants.
Scarpetta One of the most beautiful & iconic restaurants in Miami. Scarpetta has many popular locations in New York City, Montauk, Las Vegas, and more. Scarpetta Miami happens to be located right in the heart of the Fontainebleau Hotel where I recently stayed. This restaurant is definitely on the pricer end but in my opinion it is worth every bite. A must! Also, celebrity chef, Scott Conant, offers special dishes located only at Scarpetta Miami. Pretty cool.
Komodo This is the restaurant to come on a Saturday night. The high-end Southeast Asian cuisine is to die for and the restaurant’s ambiance is incredibly stunning. Komodo has multiple floors and it is the perfect place to get dinner and then lounge with drinks after. One of my favorites for sure.
Red The Steakhouse Who doesn’t love a great steakhouse? This upscale restaurant is very well known and celebrities dine here often. With its chic ambiance and extensive menu there is no mystery as to why this is a such a popular place.
STKAnother great steakhouse. STK has locations in most major cities and is always a win. One thing that makes this steakhouse different is the unique experience it offers. I feel like my dinner is one big pregame (in the best way possible). The have the most delicious cocktails and the food is incredible. Lastly, their menu is tapas style so it is super fun place to go with a group of friends.
Area 31 Talk about dinner with a view! Located in the EPIC Hotel, Area 31 is an amazing seafood restaurant to go to when in Miami. They offer outdoor lounges, a tasting menu and even happy hour. Does it get any better?
The Forge The award winning restaurant is one of the hottest places to go to in Miami; another celeb hotspot. Not only do they offer an extensive list of wine & cocktails but they have an amazing dinner & dessert menu. Also, the decor is absolutely stunning; my favorite on this whole list. Between the beautiful light fixtures and velvet couches I am literally in restaurant heaven.
Beachcraft Pictured above is another great restaurant, Beachcraft. Located in the iconic 1 Hotel South Beach, this is truly an amazing place to dine. Celebrity chef, Tom Colicchio, offers an incredible menu that puts a Mediterranean spin on his signature American farm-to-table style of cooking. I especially love the large windows in the restaurant that allow bright light to shine through. So beautiful.
Zuma A chic restaurant located in the heart of downtown Miami (they also have other locations in major cities) that offers modern Japanese cuisine. Love this restaurant and I love how they have a beautiful terrace with dim lighting where you can overlook the Miami river. Perfect! Be sure to check out the site for more info.
Juvia Love this restaurant & the ambiance is to die for! They offer an eclectic menu that consists of French, Japanese and Peruvian cooking styles. If you are like me and love trying new dishes this restaurant is for you. Even if your not up for trying new dishes, you should definitely go hang out on their amazing rooftop for a drink. Perfect place to hang with friends during the day.
Sushi Samba Last but certainly not least, Sushi Samba is a really popular restaurant that you should definitely check out. Again, they have locations in all the major cities which just proves its popularity! Just like the previous restaurant they also incorporate three cultures which include Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine. A great place to eat outdoors; especially if you are shopping on Lincoln Road. Just look for the giant orange umbrellas!
